There are several ways to do it. Here’s the wandering style.

Route (1) via MRT (Manila Metro Rail Transit System), LRT Purple Line (Manila Light Rail Transit System), and Jeepney

Estimated travel time: Approx 1 hour with regular traffic

  • Take a jeep from Pasig City going to MRT Ilalim (MRT Ilalim passes by Shaw Blvd, Pasig City side)
  • Get off at Shangri-La Mall to take the MRT. You reached MRT Shaw Blvd Station
  • Buy a one way ticket to Araneta-Cubao Station, and take train going NORTH bound
  • (MRT Araneta Center-Cubao Station connects with Araneta Center-Cubao LRT Station)
  • Walk towards Gateway Mall to get to Araneta Center-Cubao LRT Station
  • Get one way ticket to Recto Station
  • Recto is the last station. Take a jeep going to Divisoria
  • Get off the jeep when you reach 999 Mall or Tutuban Mall
  • Recommended to walk or may take a tricycle to Mapua Street where some of the restaurants are located
